The United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) is a center of multilateral diplomacy that provides a dynamic platform for collaboration, dialogue and action on global priorities. It is the representative office of the United Nations Secretary-General in Switzerland and the second largest United Nations duty station. Providing key infrastructure and support, UNOG contributes to the UN’s efforts to maintain international peace and security, to advance disarmament, to protect and promote human rights, to eradicate poverty, to implement sustainable development practices and to provide fast, effective humanitarian relief in emergencies. Bringing governments, international organizations, civil society and academic and research partners together, UNOG is a center for information sharing and exchange among all stakeholders.
