Susan and Ines explain the peer mediation system created in the Sécheron high school in Geneva. This system has been in place for 15 years and trains students and teachers in conflict resolution and communication. Since then, students have learned to trust and respect each other more.

Eman and Mati recount their experiences of the Israel-Palestine conflict, and how the profession of photojournalism gave them the opportunity to meet individuals from either side whom they would never have met otherwise. They conclude that despite having known two dramatically different realities, photojournalism enabled them to rise above their fears of “the other”.
