Biography

Born and raised in Rwanda, Ariane is a peacebuilder and researcher who focuses on conflict transformation, youth and participatory governance. Ariane has worked in post-conflict contexts for over 10 years, where she has supported societies’ efforts to rebuild their social fabric and trustful relations with their governments. Among others, she has contributed with her knowledge, expertise and experience to programs in Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Mali, Great Lakes (Rwanda, Burundi, DRC), Kenya and Timor-Leste. She is currently the Great Lakes Policy Lead and Rwanda Program Officer at Interpeace. Ariane is also the co-founder and Vice President of Solid’Africa, a health care organization that attends the needs of financially vulnerable patients in public hospitals.
