Elise Buckle is a globally recognized climate leader, who has been working in the field of climate and sustainability for 25 years. She is Founder and CEO of Climate Bridges, a global network of climate leaders, Member of the Club of Rome including thought leaders and economists focused on systems transformation as well as initiator and facilitator of the Planetary Peace Partnership. She has been advising the UNFCCC High-level champions team, COP Presidencies, the World Bank. She is International Gender Champion and co-founder of SHE Changes Climate. Elise has a strong track record of working as a partnership facilitator and catalyst for change, building bridges and global alliances to unlock the power of collective action for climate, people and nature; some of her work included the Planetary Emergency Partnership, the Nature-Based Solutions Coalition launched at the UN Secretary General Climate Action Summit, the Leaders Pledge for Nature and the G7/G20 Summits Heads of States decisions on climate finance. She is a leadership coach, mentor, public speaker and writer. She is passionate about women and youth empowerment. She teaches history, geography, yoga and mindfulness. She is a happy mother of two.
