Africa Leading for Peace
OXFORD PEACE TALKS 2019
Organised under the theme of “Africa Leading for Peace”, the 2019 Oxford PeaceTalks was held in honour of Kofi Annan, the 7th Secretary-General of the United Nations and founder of the Kofi Annan Foundation.
Seven young Africans share their personal stories and experiences of promoting peace in Africa, whether through producing a theatre production with gang members, or helping young girls access schooling. The Oxford PeaceTalks shows the global relevance of Africa as a continent leading the way in creative peacebuilding initiatives.
