Wasim is the Director of Programs for the Alliance of Middle East Peace (ALLMEP), a coalition of over 150 organizations building people-to-people cooperation, equality, shared society, mutual understanding, and peace among their communities.

Before joining ALLMEP, he served as the Director of Communications for OneVoice Palestine and later as the Deputy Director of Zimam Foundation, both members of ALLMEP. Wasim has over 10 years of experience in cross-border and civil society work with a focus on grassroots, alumni programming, and leadership development. Wasim currently works to create and develop leading innovative programming to support ALLMEP’s membership and advance the peacebuilding field.

Wasim is a third-generation Palestinian refugee, born and raised between Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. He lives with his wife and 4 children in Ramallah.
